About 2 years ago I was lucky enough to have a chance to interview Mr.Jeremy Steig the flutist whom I really respect. One of the really interesting stories he told me then that the music seen in NY when Jazz was most energetic was like the same members would play 6days a week in the same place then move to the next place in 1 day and then play the next 6days in the new place and that was how jazz developed.
These 2 days I was able to play with Mr.Kusunoki in the same place although the atmosphere was quite different being Saturday and Tuesday but it was a very good experience because we could challenge many new things between 2 days. His musical ideas are a very good inspiration for me.
Yester day I suddenly wanted to whach the movie of Frida Carlo one of my favorite painter’s movie again so I ran to the DVD shop and rented it. The next day when I woke and shocked that it was on TV the next day. Anyway I respect so much of her way of living.
