山下洋輔さんのコンサートでのロビーコンサート。
場所は神奈川県立音楽堂で、ベースの斎藤草平さんとDUO。
ロビーで人の行き交う中での演奏でしたが、じっときいてくださるかたも多く、とてもうれしかったです。
音楽堂は学生時代、コンサートスタッフのアルバイトでよく訪れた場所。
バイト中に楽屋やステージを通るたび、「いつかはワシもこのステージにたってやるぞぃ！！」と鼻息あらく業務をこなしていたので、ロビーコンサートとはいえ、夢がひとつかなったのはうれしかったです。
そして、自分たちの演奏が終わった後は山下さんと指揮者の佐渡裕さんの共演（東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団）を聞く事ができるという、なんともラッキーな展開。
とにかくエネルギーの高いステージで、最後はスタンディングオベーションと、ものすごく盛り上がっていました。
クラシックなジャズナイトという文言通り、山下さんと佐渡さんという巨匠お二人の熱いぶつかり合い、そして包み込むような愛情あふれるパフォーマンスで、ジャンルの垣根を超越した素晴らしいコンサートでした。
もう一つ、ラッキーな出来事は東フィルの首席フルート奏者の斎藤和志さんにお会いできた事。クラシックはもちろん、即興音楽などそれこそジャンルを超えた活動をされている憧れのフルーティストの音色を聞く事が出来て、すごく幸せでした。
やっぱり、楽器は音色です！！
子供のころ、初めてフルートのキラキラした音色をきいて、それ以来、恋におちてしまった、その時の気持ちを思い出しました。
そういえば、山下さんとは５月５日に山下さんのニューカルテットに参加させていただきます。
（新宿ピットインです！）
なんと、山下さんがスーパバイズしてくださった、私の最新作「Miya’s Book Music From Seven Days」の中の曲も演奏していただける予定で、山下さん以外、私のオリジナルでは、初共演なので、とっても楽しみです。
I played in a lobby concert fot Mr.Yamasita Yoske.
It was a duo with the bassist Mr.Sohei Saito and in Kanagawa Kenritsu Ongakudo. Many people listened to us so I was pleased a lot.
It was a place where I used to go for part time work as a concert staff and when I was working I was so much wanted to play there so even it was a lobby concert one of my dream had come true.
It was a lucky situation that we could listen to Mr.Yamasita and the conductor Mr.Yutaka Sado (Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra)’s concert after we played.
It was a very energetic concert and at the end every one was standing in the end and it was a great concert. Two great maestros in battle but with such deep affection to music it was a great concert overcoming the different types of music.
Also the other lucky thing was that I was able to meet Mr.Kazusi Saito the leed flute player of the orchertra. He is a star player with a beautiful sound and listening to it I rememberd when I first heard the flute and fell in love with it’s sound.
I am playing with Mr.Yamashita on 5/5 in pit inn. I hope to see you there.

| 4月23日 アートカフェ フレンズ |
恵比寿のアートカフェ：フレンズにて私のリーダートリオで初出演。
ものすごく楽しかった！！！
音楽がのびたり、縮んだり、ポップでグルーブがあったり、ルバートで自由に流れたり、すごくきれいな音もあれば、すべてをさらけだした醜い音もある、そんな、何通りもの表情を即興で組み立てていく、というのが私の理想の音楽なのですが、それを理解してもらえるメンバーと出来て、本当に幸せです。
天井も高く、フルートの音はかなり響いていましたよ。
写真は差し入れでいただいた、お菓子。
山吹色の風呂敷をあけてみるとそこには、、、、
「越後屋、御主もワルじゃのう」
（小判形のケースの中には胡麻餡のパイが入っています）
いらしてくださった皆様、本当ありがとうございました。
とてもうれしかったです！！
I played in Art Café Friends in Ebisu with my leader Trio.
It was great fun!!
My aim for music is to have many expressions that will freely change and it is a joy to be able to play with members that understand my feelings.
The place had a high ceiling and the sound went quite well.
Thank you so much for coming to this concert. It was a great pleasure.

ヴァイオリンの平松加奈さん、ピアノの進藤陽悟さんとのセッション。
もう何回目かの共演ですが、加奈さんとは、出会うべくして出会ったのだと思います。繊細で圧倒的な表現力もそうですが、あたたかい、愛情あふれる音色が大好きです。
先日、イギリスから来た親戚と観光で京都へいってきたばかりなのですが（ちょうど平安神宮の桜が満開でした）、京都出身でもある進藤さんのどことなく和風のオリジナルを演奏した時は、その時の風景がよみがえるようでした。
またこのトリオで色々演奏の予定があります。どうぞご期待ください。
A session with Ms.Kana Hiramatu and Mr.Yogo Sindo.
We have played a number of times but I feel that I was meant to meet Kana. I am a great fan of her passionate playing and her heartwarming sound.
The other day I went along to Kyoto for sightseeing with my relative form England.(It was just the right season for cherry blossom.) When I played Mr.Sindo’s original songs it was like I was back in Kyoto again since he is form Kyoto and his songs are based on a Japanese feeling.
We shall be playing again with the same members again. Please look forward to it.

| こんにちは |
なかなかブログ＆ホームページを更新できなくてごめんなさい。
なんとか生きております。
それで、トップページとスケジュールも更新したので、どうぞご覧くださいませ。
昨日は横浜のアップルでの演奏。ここ数日体調がすぐれない気がしていて、でも演奏が始まったらみるみる元気になって、(要するにそんなに具合も悪くなかったようなのですが)、とにかく音楽の力ってすごい！！
また色々お知らせしたいことがあるので、近いうちにアップしますね。

I played at apple in Yokohama yesterday. I wasn't feeling that well these days but once I started playing I felt fine so I guess I was not that bad but the power if music is so great.
I have many things I would like to tell you so I shall update again soon.

| ダイビング |
急遽思い立ってダイビング旅行へいってきました！！
昨年ライセンスをとって以来の初潜り。２０メートル近く潜るときもあるのですが、海の中の神秘は、まるで、空を飛んでいるようでもあり、水の中に潜った瞬間、今いる世界とは別の宇宙へ行く開放感。とにかくひたすら二日間、海の中と船の上（ずっともぐってはいられないので）で過ごして、創作意欲に胸を膨らませてかえってきました。
小さな頃から海は大好きでした。「Miya’s Book」の中におさめた「水の中で聞いた事」という曲の構想やタイトルはダイビングをはじめる前に浮かんだものなのですが、こうして、実際に水の中の世界を体験すると、自分がその曲で表現したかった事につながっていたのを感じます。運命って不思議。「海」や「水」は自分にとって、特別な意味があるような気がしています。
I went to a diving vacation for 2 days.
It is the first time since I took my diving license and it was such an inspiring experience I am all ready with many new ideas for my composing.
It is strange that I wrote the song [What I heard in the water] before I started scuba diving but when I actually experience the world under water I feel many links. I think the ocean and water has a special meaning.
