| 3月29日 バーバーバー |
昨日、久しぶりにヨガのクラスにいったら、私の大好きな先生の最後の日だと聞かされました。
今日はお世話になっているアルバイト先のフレンチレストランから急に連絡がきて(最近はなかなか顔を出せていなかったのですが)なんと明日で閉店するとの事。
どちらも急な展開でした。
自分が変化の中に飛び込むのは気持ちいいけど、知らない間に周りが変わっていくのは、ちょっとさびしいです。
春はそういう季節なのでしょうか。
今日は宮野寛子カルテットでの演奏、バーバーバー。2日前に同じメンバーで演奏したため、かなりやりやすかったです。
写真は白雪姫のような寛子さん、そして力強いドラマーの藤井学さん。
今日は知り合いのミュージシャンが遊びにきてくれたり、帰りにたまたま近くのライブハウスで演奏していた仲間にあったりして、たくさんのエネルギーの交流があったように思います。
Two sad things happened.
I went to Yoga class yesterday and was told that the last day of my teacher who was a very good teacher.
Today I got a e-mail from my friend we both work at the same French restaurant but I hadn’t been there for a while. She told me that it was closing tomorrow.
They were both a sudden change.
It feels good to change by your self but a little sad when the world changes with out you realizing.
Today I played in Hiroko’s quartet.
We played with the same members 2days ago so it was a very good condition,

寛子さんのカルテットで演奏しました。
カルテットは楽しいです！！
夢の一つがいつかマラソンにでる事。でもこの間15分走っただけで死にそうになりました。
ひゃー、先が長い。しかもほんのちょっと身体を動かしただけですが、自分の演奏中の運動神経の悪そうな動きや、鈍いフレーズが気になってきました。
がんばります！！
I played in Hiroko’s Quartet. I always enjoy playing in a quartet.
One of my dream is to participate in a marathon one day. Although I ran for 15 min I was exhausted. Also after I had some exercise I had a lot to feed back to my flute playing. I must work out.

| 3月26日 代ナル |
最近、ますます音楽がたのしい。
なぜなら、作曲アンド練習をしているのです。
色々な発見があって、やっとひとつの事に集中できるようになってきました。
今日はとても力強いお二人とのセッション。難しい譜面を読みました。
それからうれしい事がありました。名古屋で一緒に演奏した中垣あかねちゃん、大学の後輩でとても素敵な須田晶子ちゃんのボーカルお二人が偶然同じ日に遊びにきてくれました。
飛び入りしていただいて、とても楽しいセッションになりました。こうやって仲間の輪が広がるのってすごくうれしいなぁ。
I am really enjoying music recently. It is because I am composing and practicing recently. I used to find it difficult to find time to think of my own music but at last I feel that I am doing something.
Today was a very powerful night with the amazing musicians Yukari and Noriko.
Also two of my friend musicians came to sit in Ms. Akane Nakagaki whom I played tougher in Nagoya and Ms Akiko Suda from my university.
It was a great session.

| 春の嵐 |
23日 ドームホテルで楠さんとDUO。金曜日という事もあってか、客席の回転率が早く、3セットとも違う雰囲気でおもしろかったです。
楠さんがもってきてくださった曲でAlan PasquaのTo love againという曲を演奏しました。実は終るまで彼の曲だと気がつかなかったのですが、ピアノの宮野寛子さんがAlanの事を思って書いたオリジナル「Feel like Alan」を何回か寛子さんとのDUOで演奏していて、なので、不思議と初めてなのに前からしっているような気持ちになりました。そう思うと寛子さんの曲は非常に的を得た曲なのだな、とあらめて感動したりして。
とてもいい曲だったのでまた演奏したいです。
I played with Mr.Kusunoki in Dome Hotel. Maybe because it is Friday there people went and go soon so 3 sets were all different atmosphere which was interesting,
Mr. Kusunoki brought a song by Alan Pasqua and I really liked it. I would like to play it again.
24日、ノートランクスにてベースの水谷さん、ドラムの外山さんとのトリオにゲストにバスフルート、コントラバスフルート、古代笛の天田透さんをお迎えしました。
私にとって神様のような方たちなので、緊張します。
天田さんのリクエストで、外山さんにバラフォンを持ってきていただいて、バラフォンと古代笛というめったに聞くことの出来ない演奏で、地球の中心にいるような気持ちになったり、水谷さんの頼もしく全体を見渡すようなかっこいいベースラインに感動したりと、精神的には色々な展開がありました。
すっごく楽しかった！！！
本当にありがとうございました。
Playing at No trunks with Mr.Mizutani on bass Mr..Sotoyama and Mr.Tenda. They are so amazing musicians it is a great pleasure to play tougher and I will really like to improve my self so I can play tougher again.

楽しかった！！！
まだまだ深い呼吸ができなくて、くやしい箇所もありますが、回復してきているのを感じています。
素晴らしいメンバーに感謝。ニカスはいつもお客様も素敵でアットホームな雰囲気の中で楽しく演奏できました。
次回は6月21日(木)。その頃には体調(フルート吹きには大敵の気管支炎)もよくなっていると思うので、きっともっといいぞ。でも自分の調子が最高の時にいい演奏ができるとは限らない、このくらいのほうが、よかったりするのかもしれない、と思ってしまうのはジャズの不思議な魔力です。
It was great fun. I was disappointed in my self a little because my cough is still not well but I am feeling that I am recovering.
I would really like to thank today’s great members. Nica’s always has a great audience and so it was a great evening.
Next time is 6/21.I am sure that I will be better by then but there is a strange feeling that maybe about this much of energy is good. It dosen’t turn out that if I am feeling great that I can play well.

しばらくブログをお休みしていて、ごめんなさい！！
私は一度に一つの事しか出来ないという事がよくわかりました。
途中、体調をくずしたりしていましたが、今は元気です！
書きたい事がたくさんあるのですが、また後ほど、、。

ドームホテルでのmomo ちゃんとの会話。
Miya:「今、ドームホテルのテーマは昭和クラシックなんだって」
momo:「昭和クラシックって何？」
Miya:「私もよくわからないの、音楽で言えば、美空ひばりとかなのかな、オールディーズって事？」
momo:「わかった！ちびまるこちゃんに出てくる感じじゃない？」
そして帰りに発見した昭和クラシックのポスター。確かに、昔なつかしの洋食とか、そういう感じでした。そういえば、あまり昭和初期の事って考えた事がなかったなぁ。歴史の授業でも戦争前の近代史はあっという間に通り過ぎたような気がして。
明日はひさしぶりのリーダーライブ。ゲートワンです。是非いらしてください。
I played in Dome Hotel with momo. Today’s theme was Syowa Classic. We both found it hard get an image of Syowa classic and a very good chance to think about it.
Tomorrow is my leader gig once in a while. I hope to see you there.

関内のアップルで演奏しました。ピアノの進藤さんとDUOです。はじまる前はすごい大雨でしたが、半分イギリス人の血がそうさせるのか、よっぽどの事がない限り傘をささないので、ちょっとびっくりさせちゃったかな。
その前の昼間ヴァイオリンのmaikoさんと11日にカフェクレールである柴馬3回目のライブのリハ。また新しいレパートリーが増えました。何事にもチャレンジする柴馬、どうぞ応援してくださいね。
I played with Mr.Shindo Yogo in Kannai Apple. Playing as a DUO is very challenging and really changes depending with who you are playing so I love it. It was raining very hard but maybe because I am half British I don’t really care about umbrellas so some people might thought I am strange.
In the day time I had a rehearsal with maiko the violin player. We are playing a duo in café clair in Nishiarai on 3/11. We have prepared some new songs so I hope to see you there.
その前の日、3月4日は今月のノートランクス、そして来月のハローグッバイプロジェクトでご一緒するバスフルートの天田透さんとオーストラリアのアボリジニの楽器、ディドルジュの第一人者、新井ABO誠さんとの演奏に私も数曲参加させていただけるという事で、木更津までいってきました。バスフルート、そしてディドルジュ、どちらもとってもめずらしい楽器で、一音の大切さ、そして可能性を考えさせられました。地元のフリージャズのミュージシャンともセッションできたりして、興味深い経験でした。
On the day before I played with Mr. Toru Tenda the bass flute player who I am playing together in No Trunks in march and the hello goodbye project in April and Mr.Makoto ABO Arai the didgeridoo player. They are both quite unusual instruments so it was a great experience. It made me think about how important it is to convey the power of just one note. We had a session with the musicians from Kisarazu which was also fun.
そして、その前の3月3日にもおもしろい事がありました。これまたハローグッバイで一緒のベースの斎藤草平さんのソロパフォーマンスがあるとの事で、ダンサーの児玉麗奈さんをお誘いして六本木のクールトレインへ。ヨーロッパの洋館のようなとても素敵な建物でした。夜はジャズのライブハウスですが、昼間はギャラリーとして営業しているそうです。この日はそのレセプションで、Eiji Suzukiさんという画家の個展の中で、ベースのソロ演奏が入るといった催しでした。テーマは「孤独とホームレス」だそうで、メチャクチャかっこよかったです。表現する事の素晴らしさ、同じ空間を共有する事の楽しさを思い出して、色々参考になりました。是非またいってみたいお店です。
And the day before that there was also an interesting thing. My friend Sohei Saito the bass player was having a solo performance in Roppongi cool train so I asked Rena the dancer to come with me and we went together I went to cool train for the first time and it had a beautiful outcome and I loved the atmosphere. This day was a reception because cool train is going to open as a art garrey in the day time. They had an exhibition by Mr.Eiji Suzuki and Sohei was going to play a solo performance amongst his drawings. It was amazing and I really enjoyed it. A lot to learn from and very inspiring. I would love to go again,

| 3月2日 blue flame |
広尾にある、Blue Flame という一月にオープンしたばかりのお店で演奏しました。リーダーはギターの原とも也さん。2年ぐらい前に一度ご一緒したきりだったので、おぼえていてくださって、感激でした。広尾という街は今までほとんど縁がなかったのですが、なんていうのかな、オトナな雰囲気に圧倒されました。お店も洗練された素敵な空間で、緊張しましたが、なんとか無事に演奏する事ができました。
今月はあと何回か出演する機会ができましたので、是非一度お越しください。
I played in the new opened bar in Hiroo. The leader was Mr.Tomoya Hara on guitar. I had played with him once just about 2 years ago and it was a great pleasure that he remembered me. I haven’t had many chances to come to Hiroo in my life and a little astonished in the mature atmosphere. The bar was a beautiful place and I felt a little nervous but enjoyed the music.
This month I will be playing a few times so I hope to see you once there.

ピアノの楠さんとドームホテルで演奏しました。今日、なんで楠さんとの演奏がこんなに気持ちいいのか、ちょっとだけわかった気がしました。楠さんは最初の一音から、どっぷりと音楽の世界の中にいる、だから私も自分の世界に入りやすいんだ！色々な可能性を感じました。尊敬するミュージシャンと共演できるのは、本当に幸せです。
今日の昼間に打ち合わせがあって秋葉原にいきました。なかなかいく機会がないけど、ニュースでよく見ていて、サブカルチャーにも興味があるので、ちょっとしかいられなかったのですが、今度ゆっくり散策したいです。とても興味深いに匂いがしました。
I played with Mr.Kusunoki in Dome hotel. I have come to realize why it is so comfortable with playing with him. The moment he starts to play he is 100 percent inside the music and that is why I find it easy to go in to the music world too. So many things to respect.
In the day time I went to Akihabara for a meeting. I have seen a lot on TV about this town but never has time to actually go. I only went for a short time but love to look around when I have some more time.
