| No Trunks |
このコードレストリオ。今自分が取り組んでいる音楽の中で一番長いチャレンジ。水谷さんと外山さんという強力なお二人で、音楽というよりも魂のぶつかりあいって感じ。大人で洗練されていて、でもワクワクしたりして。すごく楽しくて緊張感のあるライブでした。昨日もちょっと試したけどこのトリオで色々やってみたい事のアイディアがわいてきています。もっとインプロに近い内容を展開してみたい。
そういえばお客様を含めてだれも喫煙者がいなかったそう。これはめずらしい。それで空気がピーンとしてたのかな。
終った後に水谷さんとビューティコロシアムの話で盛り上がりました。水谷さんのほうは着々と進行しているそう。負けてられないぞ、私もビールなんて飲んでいる場合ではない！？秋だし、そろそろワインにしようかなぁ。
11月30日にこのメンバープラス、マツモニカさんでピットインでライブをします。こちらも是非いらしてくださいね。マツモニカさんといえばバーバーバーでのリーダーライブ3日にご一緒します。これの構成や準備もしなきゃ。ひゃ−楽しみ。
This Trio is one of the most long band I have formed and very challenging. Mr.Mizutani and Mr.Sotoyama are very sophisticated and it is hard to keep up with them but a great joy to be able to make music at the same time. It was quite tense but an exciting night.
There was no one somking even in the audience. Maybe that was one of the reasons the air was so tense.

ありそうで、少ない同世代セッション。名古屋スターアイズで実現しました。新しい仲間に出会えるのは本当にうれしい。今年の2月にスターアイズに初出演、この時が初のリーダーでの遠征、すごくドキドキしたのをおぼえています。何回か回数を重ねて、名古屋もだいぶ勝手がわかるようになりました。とてもやさしいスターアイズのお客様、マスターをはじめスタッフの皆様、共演者の方々に大感謝。名古屋の皆様、どうぞこれからも応援してくださいね！
写真は左から、頼もしいドラマーの山下佳孝さん、「ピアノ王子」こと、林祐一さん、大阪在住のベーシスト、坂崎拓也さん、このバンドの歌姫、中垣アカネさん。同じメンバーでまた共演できる事になりました。来年の1月３，４の新春ライブ。是非是非いらしてくださいね。
It is unusual that all the members are around the same age and it is a lot of fun specially in the waiting time.
It is great to meet new musicians. Sine I first played in Star eyes last February I have got a lot used to Nagoya. All the audience, staff and musicians are very kind and I would really like to say Thank you to them all.
The photo from the left is Mr. Yoshitka Yamashita a very reliable drummer, Mr.Yuichi Hayashi the piano prince, Mr Takuya Sakazaki a bassist from Osaka and Ms Akane Nakagaki the diva of this band. We will be playing again on Jan 3rd and 4th next year so please come!

天然隊のリーダーの織絵さんと。天然隊の最高のアンサンブルと美しい音色を堪能しました。私もまた何か企画したいな。新しいアレンジのアイディアも出てきています。織絵さんのチェロは聞くたびに進化するからホントすごい。自分もそうありたいです。弦カルでピアノレスでやるのは2回目。自由になれてすごく楽しい。コードレスといえば29日にノートランクスで水谷さん、外山さんの強力メンバーでのコードレストリオがあります。すごく楽しみ。是非いらしてくださいね。
A photo with Orie. Her cello is making a progress every time I hear her so it is great fun to play with and it is my aim to become like that. Tennentai has such a beautiful sound and high quality ansamble I really want to plan some thing so we can play again. We played with out the piano for the second time and I think this is the right shape for us. You can become so much free with out chord instruments. I am playing a chord less trio with Mr. Mizutani and Mr. Sotoyama on the 29th in No Trunks and I hope to see you there.

ゆかりさんと織絵さん、ピアノ、チェロ、フルート、この三人ならではの音楽ですごく楽しい。いろんな可能性のある編成で大好きです。珈琲美学のあたたかい皆様に支えられて、無事に演奏できました。共演者や、スタッフ、お客様、みんなの気持ちが集まってひとつのものができる事を改めて実感、大感謝。たくさんのご来場本当にありがとうございました。
With Yukari and Orie, Piano,Cello and Flute I love this combination because there is so much possibility. The musicians today are really special and great to be able to play tougher. With the warm support of the staff of coffee bigaku we managed to play today. Thank you so much for today.

ピアノの大徳俊幸さんのグループで品川のトライベッカに初出演しました。とてもおしゃれな雰囲気で素敵なお店でした。品川駅から近くて、いい感じ。大徳さんのピアノはあたたかいお人柄がそのまま音に出てらっしゃるので、幸せな気持ちになります。じつは2年前に一度ご一緒したきりなのですが、また共演できたのは、感激でした。ベースも坂井紅介さん、ドラムが吉尾公弘さんというすごいメンバーだったので、とても勉強になって貴重なひと時でした。またご一緒できますように。
I played in Mr.Daitoku’s Group in Shinagawa Tribeka. It had a very nice atomosphier and it is close from Shinagawa station so very convenient. Mr. Daitoku’s warm personality comes straight through his piano’s sound it is great to be able to play tougher. We had played tougher once 2 years ago so I was very pleased that we could play again. The bass was Mr. Benisuke Sakai and the drummer was Mr. Yoshio Kimihiro both great musicians so it was a very special experience for me. I hope we can play again.

久々のストーリーテラーズ。すっごい楽しかった。道下さんがいるとなんだか安心して演奏できます。それにこんな素晴らしい方と演奏できる事に感謝。10月もあるので楽しみだな。それから、うれしい再会がまたありました。偶然に町で知り合いにあったりする事が同じ時期に重なる事ってないですか？今回はまさにそんな感じでまた三年ぶりに後輩の佐津間純君が遊びにきてくれたのです。道下さんのお弟子さんでもあったという事で飛び入りして、師弟対決ならぬ、楽しい演奏でした。何年かぶりに会って音楽が一緒にできるってホントにいいな。なんだかこういう出会いが続きそうな予感。ワクワク。
Today was story tellers. It was great fun and I feel really relaxed when I play with Mr.Michishita. It is great to play with such a wonderful musician. We are playing again in October again so I am looking forward to it. Also there was a happy encounter for me. Mr. Jyun Satsuma came to sit in he was a student at my university and learnt from Mr. Michishita too so it was great fun to play tougher in 3 years time. Do you have this experience that once you happen to met somebody by chance in town that the same thing happens in a short while? I am feeling that I might meet somebody that I haven’t met for a long time soon.

進藤さんとのDUOで関内のアップルに初出演。ここは自分のいっていた大学とつながりがあるようで、講師の先生方もたくさん出演しているとの事でした。大尊敬してるヴォーカルのデイナさんも出演していたので、そのうち見に行きたいです！そしてうれしい出来事が！大学の後輩のヴォーカルのアキコちゃんに3年ぶりの再会。先輩とか、後輩とかっていうのは好きじゃないけど、一緒にがんばって勉強した仲間と久しぶりに音楽できるのはうれしいものです。進藤さんの素晴らしいオリジナルも演奏できたし、アッコちゃんの飛びいり参加で楽しい一日でした。
It was my first time to play in Apple in kannnai. I didn’t know but Apple seems to have a connection with Senzoku the university I went to and Dana a vocalist I really respect plays here so I must go and see her one day! Some thing really good happened and I met Akiko a student from senzoku.We hadn’t met for about 3 years and it is great to be able to play music with some one you have studied hard tougher. We played Mr. Shindo’s beautiful originals and Akiko joined in for a few songs so it was fun!

リーダーの寛子さんの嗜好をこらしたセット構成でとても勉強になりました。増根さんのエレキベースはじめてきいたけどやっぱかっこいいなぁ。宮野宮子のほうも盛り上がっていく予定です！楽しみ。そういえば、ピッコロ一曲ふきました！でも難しかったなぁ。またいつかチャレンジします。私は10月3日にバーバーバーでリーダーライブをします。大好きなハーモニカ奏者のマツモニカさんと一緒ですので、是非いらしてくださいね！
Hiroko had really thought out tonights set lists which there was a lot to learn from. I heard Mr. Mashine’s electric bass for the first time and it sounded great. We have some plans for MiyanoMiyako too and I am looking forward a lot to it. I am playing in barbarbar on 10/3 as a leader with matsumonica a great harmonica player so I hope to see you there too.

コントラバスフルートは横に持つとこんなにながい。サウンドチェックでテンダさんが一瞬だけ私の楽器を吹かれたのですが、その時の音が、自分の楽器から出てきたとは思えないような美しい音で、衝撃でした。あんな一度聞いたら忘れられないような音、ホントに目標です。
明日はピッコロを一曲吹いてみようかな、なーんてモクロんでいるのですが、明日の朝の調子で決めよーっと。じゃ、おやすみなさい。
When you hold the contrabass flute side ways it is this much long! Mr. Tenda played my flute for a second for the sound check but I couldn’t believe that that beautiful sound was actually coming out of my flute. It is my aim to play such a note that you can never forget.
I must work again from tomorrow. I am maybe planning to play the piccolo on one tune but I’ll see how I feel tomorrow. Anyway goodnight!

この２日間、ボーーっとしています。テンダさんと演奏できたのは自分の中でとても大きな出来事でした。これもたくさんの人とのつながりから出来たことなので、心から感謝です。テンダさんはすごい存在感と説得力で一緒に演奏していると、もっと、感じた事を素直に表現していいんだ、と自分の心の何かを押さえていたボルトがスコーーンと抜けていく感じ。この２週間弱で感じた、たくさんの事を消化できるまで、時間はかかりそうですが、すっごく充実した気分。
最近、麗奈さんを通して知り合ったダンサーのTomokoさんが遊びに来てくださって、レインスティックで一曲参加してくださいました。曲はテンダさんがこの日のライブのために書き下ろした、「平和への階段」という曲。９・１１をまだ身近に感じている方は多いと思います。世界中の子供が幸せに暮らせるようになる日が来ますように。私も音楽を通してすこしでも役に立てるようになりたいです。

I have been thinking a lot this 2 days. It was such a big moment in my life to be able to play with Mr.Tenda. This is all due to all the people I met recently and I would like to thank them all so much. Mr.Tenda has such a strong and powerful soul in his sound it makes me feel that I can do anything when we play tougher. Japan’s jazz scene seems very for me but I strongly felt that I should express what I really feel and that will be the answer to all the problem.
The dancer and rainstick player Tomoko came and joined in for one song composed specially for this day(9/11) by Mr. Tenda. It was a beautiful piece and I am so glad that I could play it. I really hope that one day a day will come that all the children are smiling in the world. I will try to play my roll for that through music.

| 初盛岡、初仙台！ |
岩手県立美術館での遊佐未森さんのコンサート。私のデビューCDに参加してくださってギターの今堀さんのご紹介という、光栄なご縁です。盛岡の透明な空気、真っ赤な夕焼け、びっくりするほど大きな空に輝く月、どれも最近飢えていた感覚で、ゴクゴクと身体が吸収している感じ。
今回の仕事は自分にとって新しい世界。ジャズのライブハウス以外にもこんな現場があるんだ！知らなかったなぁ、、。まさに井の中の蛙。
演奏する岩手県立美術館のグランドギャラリーはモダンなつくりで天井がすごく高い。目を閉じると響きもまるでヨーロッパの教会のよう。未森さんの神秘的ですきとおった声にぴったりの空間。楽曲も私が大好きなアイリッシュの要素もあったりして、イメージがいろいろ沸いてきます。それに今堀さんのギターがまたかっこよくて、こんなメンバーの方々と一緒に演奏できるなんて、なんだか信じられない。
写真は前夜祭でいった海ごはん「しまか」のお食事。ちなみにこれで一人分。お魚は１５種類以上。三陸の海の幸、絶品のホヤのお刺身を初めて食しました。おいしかったぁーーーー！!
そしていよいよ翌日の本番、最高の音環境の中、集中して演奏できました。楽しかった！すっかり未森さんの大ファンになりました。昼のコンサートを終えて、そのまま仙台の定禅寺ジャズフェスティバルに直行。こちらはたくさんのバンドが出演していて、すごい活気。ここで生まれたエネルギーを発電にまわせたら相当環境にやさしいだろうな。音楽発電。
ここでもみんなの心をひきつける未森さんの歌に感動しました。とても貴重な2日間でした。
I am in Morioka now for a concert for Ms. Mimori Yusa. I got to know her through Mr.Imahori who played on my debut cd. Morioka’s beautiful air, wild sunset and the moon in the sky which is much bigger than Tokyo is just what I needed.
This type of job is totally new for me and so many new discoveries. It is a new world for me.
Where we are playing is in a very modern museum with a high ceiling and the sound effects are as if you were in a europian church. Mimori’s beautiful pure voice is perfect for this space and her songs comes straight to one’s heart. Also there are some Irish aspects which makes it good for me because I really like that taste. Also Mr. Imahori’s Guitar is so cool and it is like a deam to be able to be a member of such wonderful musicians.
The photo is what we eat at the night before in [shimaka] This is one persons portion with more than 15 types of fish including Hoya a special fish of sanriku. It was delicious!!
The next day the I could concentrate a lot in a great sound environment. It was a lot of fun and I became a great fan of Mimori. After the concert in the day time we went straight to Sendai to play in Jozenji Jazz festival. There were a lot of bands playing and so much energy floating in the air. If we could use that energy for electricity it would be great for the environment.
It was a quite confused place but once Mimori starts singing she had all the audience’s attention and I was reassured the power of music.

スイングで初めて金子晴美さんのグループで演奏しました。またご一緒できますように！自分もよく演奏するジョビンの「もしすべてがあなたと一緒だったら」の英語バージョンが聞く事ができました。この歌をはじめて聴いたのはガル・コスタとハービーハンコックのDUO。ガル・コスタの表現力に圧倒されて、とりこになりました。今月、ブルーノートにくるんだよなぁ、見にいきたいなぁ、、、。
I played in Ms. Harumi Kaneko’s group for the first time in Swing. It was with great members and I hope we can play tougher again. She sang [some one to watch over me] which I often play too and it was great that I could hear the English version. When I first heard this song was a duo with Gal Costa and Herbie Hancock. I was astonished by the way Gal sang with so much feeling. Since then I am a great fan of her and she is coming to Blue note this month. I hope I can go and see her,,

柴馬クラブ第一回のライブを西新井カフェクレールにて。もうおわった後もぼーーーっと放心状態。maikoさんはすごい！心に染みる音色です。ヴァイオリンとのDUOはすごくチャレンジだったけど、ほんとやってよかった。新しい発見がたくさんあって、maikoさん、応援してくださったお客様、カフェクレールに心から感謝です。今日は自分にとって大切な日になりました。柴馬クラブはこれからもどんどん発展していきますので、応援よろしくお願いします！
集中力も体力も相当つかったので、ひさしぶりにヘトヘトになりました。この疲れ方は初めてかもしれない、心地いい。 maikoさんはあさってにレコーディングだそうで、すごく素敵なリーダーアルバムが出来上がることでしょう、こんなに刺激になる仲間がいて幸せです。
私も今月はDUO強化月間。11日のテンダさんとのDUOに向けてこの集中力を保ってがんばります！
It was our first live for Shibauma club to play in café clair in Nishiarai. I am out of my mind because it was a very intence music and I really enjoyed it. So much energy for concentrating. It was a great experience. A lot of new discoveries. I thank maiko and all the people who came today and cafe clair from my heart for letting me have such an amazing experience. We will play in a lot of places so I hope you will keep with us from now on!
maiko has a recording in 2days for her debut album, I’m sure it will become a great album and am looking forward to it. It is great to have such inspireing musician friends.
For me this mounth is a mounth to challenge with duo’s. My next duo is with Mr.Tenda on bass flute. I am really excited and also nervous what it will become but looking forward to it and am going to keep this concentration till the 11th.

昨日の宮野宮子結成ライブは初出演の外苑前ジマジンにて。今回のコンセプトはShe やNew cinema paradise など名曲だけどジャズではあまり演奏されていない曲をとりあげるという事でした。これからも色々コンセプトを決めておもしろい事ができそうな予感。
突然ですが、私はおいしいものを食べると踊りたくなるという性質があります。演奏後の打ち上げでふと隣を見ると、ジマジン名物のイタリア直送の生ハムとチーズを前にしてコオドリをしている宮野さんを発見！こんな所で仲間に出会えるとは！そんな訳で、ますます宮野宮子の固い結束をちかったのでした。
この生ハムとチーズ本当においしくて、価格もリーズナブル。何皿もおかわりしてしまいました。お酒が好きな方には、とくにお勧めです。
Our 1st live of MiyanoMiyako was at Zimazine for me it was the first time to play there. This time’s concept was playing songs that are not often played at jazz clubs but beautiful songs like She and New cinema paradise. I felt an expectation that we will be able to do a lot of fun things as Miyano Miyako from now on!
By the way when I eat something delicious I feel like dancing. After we finished playing I saw Miyanosan dancing in front of the delicious dish of ham and chasse sent direct from Italy. I wasn’t expecting to find someone like me so it was great and we reconfirmed our strong alliance of MiyanoMiyako
The ham and cheese of zimazine is really delicious and I highly recommend specially if you enjoy drinking.
そして、今日は俊太郎バンドin ラ･マーレード茶屋。ここは葉山の海のすぐ近くで空気も気持ちのいいところです。ちょうど近くをドライブでたそがれていたトロンボーンの池田雅明さんも遊びにきてくださって、ひさしぶりに一緒に演奏しました。写真は俊太郎バンドときてくださったお仲間で。明日はいよいよ柴馬クラブ！是非是非西新井カフェクレールにいらしてくださいね！
Today was in hayama with Syuntaro band. It is just by the sea and the air is beautiful. The Trombone player Mr.Masa Ikeda who was just driving near by came to sit in so we played tougher which was great.

昼間はカフェクレールでの柴馬のリハ。尊敬しているmaikoさんと一緒に演奏できるだけでも幸せなのですが、それにしてもこのヴァイオリンとフルートのみという組み合わせが自分の中に眠っていた感覚を刺激して、ウズウズします。それに色々新しい発見もあります。最近はセッションバンドが多かったから、リハをして音楽を作りこむという作業がすごく楽しい。今日、曲目と曲順も決まったのであとは練習するだけです。9月3日乞うご期待！是非いらしてくださいね
そして夜は町田のニカスにて二回目のリーダーライブ。メンバーはギターの寺屋ナオさん、ベースの嶌田憲二さん。このお二人だったら楽しくないわけがない！素晴らしかったです。それから、こんどご一緒する、天田透さんがコントラバスフルートをもって遊びにきてくださいました。前にもコントラバスフルートのかっこよさはお話しましたが、実は今回が初音あわせ。ちょっと緊張しました。テンダさんは、とても言葉では説明できないけど、立体的な音と存在感で、音楽そのもののような方でした。9月11日のDUOすごく楽しみ。
In the day time we rehearsed for shibauma. It is great that I can play with maiko who I really respect and also the combination of just the violin and flute makes me realize some feelings that I didn’t know I had and it is very inspiring. There are a lot of new discoveries. Recently I have mostly been playing in session bands so taking time on rehearsals and making music is such a fun presses. We have decided on our tunes and orders so all is left are practice. Please look forward for 9/3.
The evening I played in Nicas my second time there. The members were Mr. Nao teraya on guitar and Mr. Kenji Shimada on bass.. There is no way it will not be fun with such great musicians and it was very exciting. Also Mr. Tenda Toru came and sat in on contrabass flute. I have already mentioned how much an amazing instrument it is but it was our first time to play tougher. Mr.Tenda’s music is like three dimensional music and I am really looking forward to play a duo on 9/11.
