I had a lot of chances to play a duo with Yukari so it was a great mounth. Today was the first day of the goldenweek jazz in klavier. With very warm audience it was a very nice night. Because we played with no pa my approach was totaly diffrent from usuall. Klavier is a very special place in that terms. The photo is with Yukari and the owner couple.
My comming up special live is in cafe clair on 5/4. I am inviting Mr.Clyde Willams jr. as a guest. I got to know Clyde through Sohei the bassist on the same day but it will be the first time to meet on the day. I am really looking forward to it.
Today was at the artist cafe with Yukari. The people in the photo are my new Flute friends who I met through Rena's dance class. We all started the flute in our school wind band so there was a lot to talk!
I am playing at Clavier in Asagaya with Yukari on the 28th. We are playing with no PA so please enjoy the pure sound of the instruments.
In the day time I went to see the impro dance class of Rena who we are going to play tougher in June with Mr. Saito on bass. It was a very interesting experience. I also joined in danceing which was a laugh but it was fun. I wounder why dancers seem more fresh than musicians. Maybe because they are useing their body.
In the night I went to play in shinjyuku J. I have been playing with a piano trio recently but I realized that the sound of a guitar trio really goes well too. It was a while since I played with Nao but he sounded beautiful.I would really like to play with the same members again.
Today is with Syuntaro band in Hayama. I love here because it is by the sea. Ms.Keiko Toge a great singer who lives just round the corner came to sit in. I have become a great fan of her since we played tougher last time in swing. I got a lot of courage from her book.
The second day was with Orie ,Mr.Tanabe and vocalist Mayumi Yamamoto in Vanilla mood in Roppongi. It was my first time to play there but unfortunately it is closing this mounth. It was about two years since I last played with Mayumi so it was nice to meet again. She is now singing the song for the commercial of Qoo a drink made by coca cola company.
I have been playing with Orie for 2days running. The first day was in gunnma with the Shitsunai Jazz gkudann. We all went by car tougher so we had time to get along which helped me to relax when playing. All the members are really nice kind peope. The audience were great too and it was a good concert. The person in the middle is the master of Getuyokan. We also played a song the master composed!
この夜景の美しさわかりますか？43階ですよ。ほんといいとこだなー。さて今日は前半はほとんど貸し切り状態でかなり繊細なアプローチ、後半は野球がえりのお客様でほぼ満席でワイワイにぎやかなアプローチと一日で二通りの演奏でした。なんか得した気分。 それからギャラリーライブの日程が決定しました。6月24日です。普通のライブハウスではできないような面白い事を色々企画していますので、楽しみにしていてくださいね。内容はおって連絡します！ Can you see the beautiful view behind?It is the 43th floor.I love here. Today the first half was very quiet with nealy no people so we could really enjoy the music.The second half loads of people came after the bass ball so we could play in a very jolly atmosphier.So we enjoyed two types in one night.I feel rather happy.
We have decided the date for the gallrey live. It will be on6/24.
I went to ginza Cygnas. It was my first time to play there and I didn’t know any of the players so I felt nervous but hatsumi(the leader today) was very kind so I could relax soon. I guess who you are really appears in the music. I had wanted to play with the bassist today Mr. Tetsuya Mashine for I long time so that was a great joy today. Mr.Mashine is the bassist of Jeremy Steig when he comes to Japan and I am a great fan of him. The photo is us celebrating Mr. Hirai’s birthday. It is like a home party!
Today I had lunch with Rena Kodama. At last we are going to play tougher again. I have always loved to Work with dancers so I am really looking forward to it. It will take place in the gallery Icchies in Aoyama. We are planning to do something that we can’t do in a live house so I am looking forward to it very much. Rena has so much energy it is great to spend time tougher. I had a look at her dance studio on the way home and I decided that I need to work more on my stretching excises!
Today was another exciting day. I seem to be able to here many things probably because of yesterday’s playing. A student from the university I used to go to came to sit in. His name is Kango Ishikuro and he plays the guitar. He has a lot of energy and it was fun to play tougher. Also Ryutaro Makino joined in too. He is a wonderful singer and he is developing every time I hear him. On the way back I bought DAPHNE’s bread which is delicious so I went home in a good mood in the rain.
Today was a great day. I am so glad that I chouse music as a carrier. I would like to thank the members and the audience and also the pit inn. I got energy to go on from tomorrow.
Todays menbers are great musicians with a lot of technique so it was a very intence session. It is hard but worth the work. The next time with the same members is is on 7/18.
My big event in pit inn is comeing soon . I am working hard on preperation. I am looking forward to see you there.
Today was a very exciting day. It is because I met a new very attractive singer. Her name is Ms.Keiko Toge. She is a very beautiful person but also an adventurer. She mainly sings carpenters so I played carpenters for the first time in my life as a profecial musician. I felt that the sound of the flute matches the sound of the song very well.
The song I love the most is I know I need to be in love. The way she sings has a sense of sadness and in her pure voice which really comes to the listeners heart. I want to be able to become a musician that can express that kind of feeling.
It seems a while to play with the regullar members of storytellers. Mr.Michishita was in a very bad condition because of hey feaver but once he held his guitar his music was amazing so I was surprized.
I can't believe it rained again when we went to JJ.
