I went to Senzoku's Yokohama canpus to practice and record for the story tellers.Although we recorded by our selfs we got a good sound so I was glad. Also we recorded my favorite song hal written by Mr.Michishita which was great. It is such a nice song perfect for the flute so I hope you will hear it soon. We are planning to record like this little by little and going to make aCD so please look forward. We are playing at jessie james tomorrow. I hope to see you there!
Today we played at an event promoting a new slot machine Golgo 13. The story is about a sniper and they had some actors act a gun fighting. It was quite exciting. It reminded me thatI used to love the tv program cats eye.
Ms.Kozue Saito came and sat inn. I had heard a lot about her but it was my first time to play tougher so it was great fun. It was my first time with Mr. Akita on bass and that was great too. I will probably be playing on Cozue’s CD which we will be recording next mounth. I’ll tell you more when I know.

カッコイイ！今回は急遽ゲストで参加していただいたのですが、初めてとは思えない、すばらしい演奏でした。すごいなぁ。今度maikoさんとDUOやりたいんだ。 Maiko is so cool. It was the first time she played I this string quartet but she played it perfectly. I want to play a duo wit maiko some day.

Today is Syuntaro’s CD sale commemorative live. I relized again how many different types of songs we played. It is amazing that we put al thouse songs in one CD. We play Get out and get under the moon in free jazz and that is great fun. We sold many CD’s and it was a very good live. Thank you very much for coming today in such bad weather. By the way Alex who is sitting next to me is so cute! I really would like to have more young listeners although I know it is hard for young children to go out late.
This is nothing to do with music but I am very disappointed in the US for sending meat that might have BSE. I have heard that the way American people handle food products quite carelessly but I guess that was true, I think there are many good points about America but still they should keep the promise they made they shouldn’t send that kind of meet to Japan. Even if Japan starts importing beef I won’t eat it for a while.
Anyway tomorrow is café clair which I have been working for a long time. I hope to see you tomorrow.
Today's member is Mr.Kitagawa on guitar Mr.Kishi on bass andMr.Mizukuchi on drums.Our avrege hight is over 170cm which is very unusial but really conftable. I have a runny nose which is preventing me to get a good sound out of the flute.I hope it will get better soon. I have played with todays members a few times but it seems to get better every time. We are playing in jam on 3/31.
I really have to worlk on the arrengement for the 22nd. I hope I can finish it.
I went to Okinawa the other day. This is Okinawa's jazz club Guwa's Pianist Mr.Yara Fumio.It was a very nice place. I wonder if it was only me that felt the music had a touch of the beautiful sea of okinawa? I really would like to go again.
Today was the reharsal for the 22nd at cafe clair. Playing with strins is so fun.I am writing a new song called Dosan which is modled from a historical hero Dosan Saito. I hope it goes well.
I haven't written this blog for a few days but there is something I would really like to write. It is what violinist Ms.Noriko Satomi said. She said

Isn't that a wonderful word? I think it shows the beauty of jazz.
It was the first time to play with this conbination but it was great fun! But when the music goes well there are more and more ideas come up so I really have got to practice! We are planning to play again in santana in the summer.The air is very nice and fresh in Hiratsuka.
I am writing a new arrengement for strings for the 22nd but I am worried if I can finish it by date.It's really hard work!
We have decided a name for our band with Kazu Michishita on guitar and Tadashi Ogawa on bass. The name is [Story tellers} and the aim is to tell many Kinds of stories through music. The concept is very quiet progressive jazz. We will play our original songs and really good songs that you could not hear at a jam session. We are hopeing to record so please look forward to it! The next gig is at Jessie James in tachikawa.
Happy new year! This year's first job is with Orie and Mr. Tanabe at Landmark Tower in Yokohama. Mr.Tanabe is holding the medamanooyaji candy which I gave to them.It is so fun to be with them. We played on the 70th flor with a great view and after that we went to the china town and had a putit new years party. It was delicious!
